CONTROL Resonant launches digitally worldwide on September 24, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The physical editions follow later, on October 15, for PS5 and Xbox. The Mac version is scheduled later in 2026.
New Zealand gets it first
Per Remedy’s official materials, the New Zealand release date is September 25. That puts it one day after the main global launch, matching how some studios stagger regional rollouts around a fixed UTC-based go-live time.
The per-region unlock schedule is now published. Local times: the US West Coast unlocks at 9:00 PM on September 23, the East Coast at midnight September 24, London 5:00 AM, Paris/Berlin 6:00 AM, China (Beijing/Hong Kong) and Singapore at noon, Tokyo 1:00 PM, and Auckland 1:00 AM on September 25. A crowded September window
The late-September date lands the game alongside several other major releases. Remedy’s communications director said the timing is “challenging”, pointing to other titles shipping close to it, including Silent Hill: Townfall and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Remedy still planned its largest marketing campaign for the game to compete.
